effect on spectator
Wasp
. A frantic panicked atmosphere is created through various camera techniques combined, a handheld shot is used that is very shaky and unstable giving connotations of instability within the characters life. The effect on the spectator is such that they feel more immersed in the scene as the spectator is given this sense of panic; this sense of panic is also portrayed through a close up shot on a women's legs which shows her barefoot but not much else, which further connotes panic and the use of a close up shot limits the information given to the spectators effecting the spectator to be intrigued by this peculiar situation. A low angle is also used to show the frantic running of the woman to emphasise the panic felt as this shot is thrust into the spectators view through the close up and shaky handheld shot all combining to give the frantic atmosphere.
A medium close up is used to show the expression of the woman and show how intense said expression is, the medium close up has a deeper depth of field revealing the background providing more information to the viewer. The hand held shot is shook up and down to put the spectator in the place of the baby as it is jolted up and down, emphasising the panic felt by making the spectator empathise with the most vulnerable character in the scene.

This is good - though it is somewhat repetitive in places - try to tighten up your writing; don't simply keep reiterating the same point about panic etc. You could also comment on how the director wishes the spectator to relate to the characters - e.g. do we feel sorry for them? Should we judge them?
